Accessibility Statement for the Pikeur Online Shop

This statement describes the accessibility of the online shop at www.pikeur.de. E-commerce services are subject to the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and its implementing ordinance (BFSGV), unless a statutory exemption applies.

Compliance status

Based on a self-assessment dated 12 October 2026, the online shop partially complies with the applicable requirements of the BFSGV. Chrome Lighthouse was used as the basis for the assessment. The assessment is guided by the relevant requirements of EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA, insofar as they apply to the shop.

Non-accessible content

We have checked the shop using Chrome Lighthouse for accessibility barriers that can be detected automatically. This check covers only some of the requirements. A comprehensive manual assessment or professional audit has not yet been carried out. We therefore cannot currently confirm full compliance with the applicable requirements.

Known limitations

  • Some older PDF documents and downloadable forms are not fully machine-readable and therefore offer only limited usability with screen readers.
  • Some images and graphics still have incomplete or missing alternative text.
  • The accessibility of embedded third-party content and features, such as videos, map services or payment providers, has not yet been verified in all cases. Additional barriers may arise when using them.

If you do not receive a satisfactory response after contacting us, you can contact the Market Surveillance Authority of the German Federal States for the Accessibility of Products and Services (MLBF). The MLBF monitors compliance with the BFSG.
